The TTAG-EGA AID SCHEME is an initiative by the 29th Administration of the Eastern and Greater Accra Sector of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana.
It is to empower Teacher Trainees, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting financial stability.
On 29th October 2024, it was launched at the Opening Ceremony of the 28th General Assembly of the Association.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHEME:
1. Financial Assistance Program: Provide monetary support to genuinely needy teacher trainees, bridging the financial gap and ensuring their academic success.
2. Student-Prenuer Loan Grant: Offer interest-free or low-interest loans to teacher trainees with entrepreneurial aspirations, enabling them to kick-start their businesses and develop essential skills.
3. EGA Agro Business Seed Fund: Provide initial capital for the EGA Agro Business initiative, promoting agricultural entrepreneurship, food security, and sustainable livelihoods among teacher trainees.
We believe that this initiative will alleviate financial burdens for needy trainees, foster entrepreneurship and innovation, promote agribusiness and food security, enhance academic performance and retention and empower teacher trainees to become financially independent.
During the launch, some dignitaries donated to support the scheme.
In the coming days, the Association would be supporting it’s members who genuinely deserve.
Together, let’s support our teacher trainees and foster a culture of entrepreneurship and financial stability!
